* How Much Product do I Need?

This app will help you calculate how much rock, sand, soil, or gravel you need. All you need is your project dimensions!

* How much does one yard of product weigh?

This answer varies by product- Here are the average numbers from Google for each product (this isn’t a guarantee, just a typical weight):

• Topsoil (dry to moist): 2,000 to 2,400 lbs. per cubic yard.

• Garden mix: 2,200 lbs. per cubic yard.

• Sand: 2,600 to 3,100 lbs. per cubic yard.

• Compost: 1,400 to 1,600 lbs. per cubic yard. 

• Crushed stone or gravel: 2,500 to 2,800 lbs. per cubic yard.

• River rock / Pebbles: 2,600 to 3,000 lbs. per cubic yard.

• Standard wood mulch or bark: 400 to 800 lbs per cubic yard.

• Fine shredded mulch (or wet mulch): Up to 1,000 lbs per cubic yard.

* Do you offer any discounts?

Absolutely! We offer a Local Hero Discount to our first responders, including firemen, ambulance crews, law enforcement officers, and their spouses. We also provide a Military Discount to any active member of the U.S. military, veterans, and their spouses. 

* Do you have recommended contractors for landscaping jobs?

* Can I make an appointment for a day you're not scheduled to be open?

Give us a call and leave a detailed message with the product you need, the quantity, and when you’d like to stop by. We’ll do our best to work with your schedule, but it might take a day or two to get back to you, so be sure to call a few days ahead!

* I don't own a truck, cannot afford delivery, and I don't have any 5-gallon buckets: is there a way that I can pick up a product?

Of course! We have a few 5-gallon buckets here that we can use to measure the product. Just bring any bin or container you can find, and we’ll use our 5-gallon buckets to portion it out.

* Why don't you run normal business hours?

Right now, we’re keeping costs down by running the business without employees, which helps us keep prices affordable for our customers. It’s just the two of us handling both the landscape yard and the trucking business, and we try to set hours that work well for most people. Once we hire someone, we’ll have more regular hours.

* Is your establishment kid friendly?

We strive to make sure your kids feel welcome when visiting us! They’re always welcome in our office and can explore the yard as long as a responsible adult is with them. For safety, when equipment is in use, we ask that children move into the office or your vehicle. You’re responsible for their behavior and safety, so please don’t let them climb on product piles, bay dividers, or other objects in the yard. And don’t forget to stop by the office so they can pick out a free rock! 

Please bring your kiddos with you when you come to pick out a Christmas Tree! There will be free goodies and crafts available in our office, and we would love to bring them some Christmas joy!

* Can I bring my dog with me?

We love our furry friends and keep a jar of large dog biscuits in the office for visits. You will be required to keep your companion away from the product piles, and if they make a mess, you’ll be responsible for cleaning it up.

* Do you deliver your Christmas Trees?

We can deliver a Christmas Tree, but our standard "Small Load" Fee will apply. Please check our Delivery Page for more info.
